| After much discussion, and through popular demand, myself and the staff
at Crest have decided to focus on the people that are the backbone of our
business throughout the year - yes you. |

| We hope you understand that we aim to look after all our divers to a high
standard. We do, however, appreciate that the tourist budget for a one-week
holiday blitz is somewhat different from that of you guys who dive regularly
with us. Even as holiday makers some of you guys come back 2 or 4 times
a year, which is fantastic. |

| My proposal is to form a club for local and regular divers, and their
families, with a view to concentrating on not only the diving side but the
social side too. Those of you who attended our BBQs and clean ups last year
seemed to have a good time (we have photographic evidence!) and at each
event we held the same topic of conversation came up - why couldn’t
we have a local dive club? |

| Ever responsive to customer demand, what I now propose is exactly that!
Provisionally there will be an annual joining fee and specific dives and
events laid on for club members. Some things that have been suggested are
dive safaris to the North side of the island, underwater treasure hunts,
and dive holidays (these already exist). Members wishing to will be able
to store their equipment at the Centre. Dive prices will be dramatically
reduced for members, as will prices for courses and holidays. |

| As you can see from the above table it takes a maximum of four local dives
to actually get back your initial membership fee – much less if you
take advantage of the tank fills. You may also have noticed that we have
extended the privileges of membership to include a discount on participation
in RYA Powerboat courses. The Crest RYA Powerboat school is the longest
established civilian school in Cyprus and offers the same high standards
as you have come to expect from the dive school. |
