Gullies & Over Hangs
As the Gullies & Over Hangs name implies, this site, located a mile of shore of the historic ruins of Amathus, and a little more than 2 miles west of Crest Dive Center's facilities at the St. Rafael Marina, is crisscrossed with numerous sandy bottom channels between sinuous, sea grass covered mounds. Ranging in depth to over twenty metres, Gullies & Over Hangs is an exciting and challenging dive site for both intermediate and advanced divers. The over hangs, thick sea grass, and soft sandy bottom make Gullies & Over Hangs an ideal home for crabs, shrimp, octopus, and numerous species of fish.
