Located approximately 2 miles east of Crest Dive Center's facilities at the St. Rafael Marina, and adjscent to the slightly deeper Chains dive site, the Works dive site is an ideal location for new, and returning divers. The water depths varies from four to twelve meters, over a gently sloping bottom.
The bottom is mostly sand, with occasional mounds of sea grass dotted about. This makes an excellent environment for shrimp, mollusks, and burrowing star fish.
The sea grass mound also afford cover for the occasional moray eel and stripped grouper.
