There are many outstanding scuba diving
sites around Cyprus. Some of the best include the Akrotiri Peninsula,
Cape Greko, Coral Bay, St. George\'s Island, and the world famous
wreck of the Zenobia. |
Akrotiri
Peninsula
A relaxing 30-minute cruise on our custom-built dive boat will
take you to Cyprus' Akrotiri Peninsula, where there is snorkelling
and scuba diving in the Akrotiri Fish Reserve, Sharks Cove and
Tombs. |
Cape
Ghreko
Explore the caves at the southern tip of the cape, dive the
plunging depths off White Chapel, and explore the ravines at
Cyclops. |
Coral
Bay
Scuba diving around the Coral Bay area of Cyprus offers several
excellent sites for intermediate and advanced scuba divers.
Two of the best scuba diving sites on offer are off the Cynthiana
Hotel and at Amphitheatre. |
Local
Diving
Only five minutes or less from the centre, the Marina Wall,
MY Diana, Julie and Cars offer some of the best scuba diving
sites in Cyprus for beginning to intermediate scuba divers. |
St.
Georges Island
A short boat trip from the harbour at Latchi, the slopes of
this rocky islet abound in marine life, including moray eels
and grouper. You can descend to 35 mt. (115 ft) to explore the
underwater caves. Sheltered from western winds, St .George's
Island is a good alternative when other west coast sites are
not accessible because of high seas or poor visibility. |
Wreck
of the Zenobia
The wreck is more than 178m in length, and now rests on its
port side. With a maximum depth of 42m to the sandy sea-bed,
the top rail of the wreck is at 16m. |
